Volume 16, Number 4, July/August 2017
by Pan Lu
Article Description
Pan Lu's essay recounts her research residency at Fukuoka Asia Art Museum (FAAM), in which she examined photographic documentation made
by the museum’s curators during their early and extensive research trips throughout Asia. She questions how these photographic documentations may have produced and framed the visual history of the institution since the 1970s.
