The exhibition, co-curated by Liu Ding and Carol Yinghua Lu at Beijing’s Inside-out Art Museum, unfolds a panorama of Beijing’s art scene during the decade from the late Cultural Revolution to the beginning of the Reform and Opening-up, a period that is significant and yet for the curators has been under-explored.
