Adam Monohon
Adam Monohon is a graduate student in the History of Art and Archaeology of East Asia at the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and a graduate of the History of Art and Design program at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. Monohon is interested in the history of photography as well as modern and contemporary non-Western art; he is especially interested in contemporary Chinese photography. Having completed his undergraduate thesis on landscape in contemporary Chinese photography, he is writing his master’s dissertation on the Beijing-based April Photography Society.
