Chang Tsong-zung has played an important role in promoting contemporary Chinese art since the late 1980s. He has curated numerous exhibitions including China New Art, Post-89 (1993), and Magic at Street Level for the Hong Kong Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (2001). He is currently Director of Hanart TZ Gallery in Hong Kong.
