Collette Chattopadhyay

Collette Chattopadhyay is a contemporary art critic, lecturer, and curator based in Los Angeles. She is a member of the International Association of Art Critics and has served as Contributing Editor for Sculpture, Artweek, and Art Asia Pacific. She has authored numerous catalogue essays and books, including Humana Ex Machina, CSUFullerton Museum, California (2007), and Fletcher Benton: An American Artist (2008). She has twice served as a guest curator at the Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena, California. Her curatorial works include Drawing the Line: Contemporary Artists Reassess Traditional East Asian Calligraphy (2003), with artists such as Wang Nanming, Qin Feng, and Flo Oy Wong; and Calligraffiti (2009), featuring Xu Bing, Gu Wenda, and Zheng Chongbin alongside Chaz Bojorquez, Gronk, and others.
