Jinsang Yoo

Yoo Jinsang is an artist and a professor at Kaywon School of Art and Design, Gyeonggi-do, Korea, and has regularly contributed critical articles to Wolganmisool (Monthly Art) and Art in Culture for over fifteen years. Since 2000, he has organized several exhibition programs to promote a new generation of Korean artists, such as Art Factory Show (2000), design_network_asia (2006), ASYAAF (2008), and media art exhibition programs like Crosstalk, Real_Interface, and mediaart.org (2002–2005). In 2010, he was invited as guest curator for the National Museum of Contemporary Art’s collection show Abstract It! and this year he was named as artistic director for the 7th International Media Art Biennial, also known as MediaCity Seoul 2012, entitled Spell on You.
