1Julian Scarff
Julian Scarff is a freelance writer with a B.A. in
Fine Arts and Cultural Studies and L.L.B honours degrees in Asian and International law from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has also completed a L.L.M. in Regulatory Governance at Monash University, Australia. In 1997, he undertook an exchange scholarship at Peking University, Beijing and returned after graduation to live and work in
Beijing for a further four years. Julian has organized contemporary art and film exhibitions in China and Australia and has written on contemporary art for Art Asia Pacific, Asian Art News, and the Far Eastern Economic Review.
