Luise Guest

Luise Guest is a Sydney-based writer and researcher. Since 2010 her writing about Chinese art has been published in The Journal of Chinese Contemporary Art, Art Monthly Australasia, Artist Profile, Randian, Daily Serving, The Culture Trip and The Art Life. Her first book, Half the Sky: Conversations with Women Artists in China, was published in 2016 by Piper Press, Sydney. Her former role as Manager of Research for the White Rabbit Collection involved her in documenting almost 700 artists in the collection, and writing the text of 99 Chinese Artists (White Rabbit Collection Sydney, 2019). Currently she is completing a Ph.D. at the University of New South Wales.
