Mark Bessire

Mark Bessire is the Director of the Bates College Museum of Art. He has edited three books with MIT Press on exhibitions he curated:Wenda Gu: from middle kingdom to biological millennium,William Pope L: The Friendliest Black Artist in America, and Beyond Decorum: The Photography of Iké Udé.. He is currently working on the exhibition Cryptozoology.
