Melanie O’Brian

Melanie O’Brian is Curator & Head of Programs at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, Toronto. She was formerly Director/Curator at Artspeak, Vancouver; Assistant Curator at the Vancouver Art Gallery; and lecturer at Emily Carr University, Vancouver. She is the editor of Vancouver Art & Economies (Arsenal Pulp Press/Artspeak, 2007) and Judgment and Contemporary Art Criticism (Artspeak/Fillip, 2010) and has written for exhibition catalogues and magazines such as C Magazine, Mix, Fillip, X-Tra, and Yishu.
