1Milena Hoegsberg
Milena Hoegsberg is an independent curator and writer based in New York. She earned her B.A. in art history at Columbia University and her M.A. at the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College. Her curatorial work includes Nanna Debois Buhl: Looking for Donkeys (Southern Alberta Art Center, 2010), Another Time (Center for Curatorial Studies, 2008), and Manifesting Emptiness (The Betty Rymer Gallery, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 2006). She worked closely with curator Maria Lind on The Greenroom: Reconsidering the Documentary and Contemporary Art (CCS Bard Galleries and the Hessel Museum, 2008). She has contributed reviews and essays to various art publications, including Sculpture Magazine, Manifesta Journal, Art Forum China, The Biennial Reader (2010), and Bill Viola: Visions (2005). She is currently working on a contemporary site-specific
exhibition in the prehistoric collections at the National Museum, Copenhagen, Denmark, which will open in June 2012.
