Monica Mak

Monica Mak received an M.A. from the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University, where she is presently completing her Ph.D. Her dissertation research is on the impact of digital filmmaking technology in independent cinema. She is the author of several diverse articles published in Convergence: Journal of New Media & Technology, Yishu: Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art, and the book anthology Eating in Eden: Food in American Utopias.
