1Nora Wölfing
Nora Wölfing is an art historian and sinologist based in Berlin. She is a researcher, writer, and curator with a specialization in contemporary art from the Sinophone Region. Wölfing is pursuing her doctoral studies at Freie Universität Berlin and is affiliated researcher at the East Asian Futures cluster at Ruhr University Bochum. For her research she has received the Elsa Neumann Scholarship of the State of Berlin.
Since 2022, Wölfing has been a member of the Research Network for Modern and Contemporary Art. Her research is based on critical feminism and transcultural theories, while her focus lies on concepts of temporality, narrative structures, and the intersection of technology and art. As a second focus she writes on feminist motherhood in the arts. Her articles have been published in Art Asia Pacific, CURA, gallerytalk.net, artline, and Goethe Institute Yi Magazine.
