1Orianna Cacchione
Orianna Cacchione is a Ph.D. student in art history, theory, and criticism at the University of California, San Diego. A former visiting scholar at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, she is currently based in San Diego and Beijing. She received her master’s degree in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmith
University in 2008. She is a frequent contributor to Flash Art International. Her current research focuses on how transnational art practices shape critical discourses about the internationalization of the contemporary art world.
