Qing Pan

Qing Pan is currently finishing her doctoral degree in the Art Education Program at Columbia University in New York. She is the New York Correspondent of Art and Collection Magazine in Taiwan. Last November, she organized a symposium at Columbia University entitled “Conversations Across Cultures: Tradition and Innovation in Contemporary Chinese Art and Art Education,” held in conjunction with an exhibition she curated consisting of students’ artworks from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.While at Columbia, she has fostered a collaboration between Teachers College at Columbia University and the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, which involves the design of a new art education program for teachers of art education at the university level in China.
