Shan Windscript
Shan Windscript was born in mainland China and has studied and lived in Australia since 2001. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Sydney before moving to Melbourne to pursue her postgraduate study. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts (Cultural Studies) at the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2012, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Historical and Philosophical Studies at the same university, researching memory and contemporary Chinese history. Her research interests cover a broad range of subjects including memory, violence, and contemporary Chinese art and history.
