Sheng Kuiyi

Sheng Kuiyi is Assistant Professor of Art History at Ohio University. He is co-author of the catalogue and co-curator of the modern portion of the exhibition China 5, 000 Years. A Century in Crisis: Modernity and Tradition in the Art of Twentieth-Century China (Guggenheim Museum, 1998). Recent publications include Between the Thunder and the Rain: Chinese Paintings from the Opium War to the Cultural Revolution 1840-1979 (Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, 2000).
