Tianmo Zhang
Tianmo Zhang is an M.A. candidate in art history at Concordia University and holds a B.A. in art history and communications from the University of Ottawa (2010–14). Her thesis focuses on the role of tradition and cultural signifiers in contemporary Chinese ink painting, with an emphasis on the exhibition Unscrolled at the Vancouver Art Gallery (2014–15). In 2013, she founded Z Art Space, Montreal, a curatorial project space dedicated to promoting contemporary Chinese art in Canada and supporting student initiatives.
