Wato Tsereteli

Wato Tsereteli is an artist, photographer, curator, and creative administrator. He studied film in Tbilisi and obtained an M.A. from the Department of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. Tsereteli’s artistic works are two-, three-, and four-dimensional objects with structured spatial organization. He initiated the Center of Contemporary Art in Tbilisi, which serves as an educational, research, and exhibition platform for artists and art professionals. A long-term conceptual extension of CCA–Tbilisi is the Tbilisi Triennial, a project focused on the potential of education systems.
