Xaviera Xiao

Xaviera Xiao is a researcher at Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, where she helps develop and evaluate immersive media tools for educational purposes. She holds a M.St. in Film Aesthetics from the University of Oxford and a M.A. in Global Media and Post-national Communications from SOAS, University of London. She has published and presented research on issues of place, globalization, urban space, and identity within contemporary Chinese cinema. She has also assisted in the editing of Cinema Island, a project on public memory and place.
