Xing Zhao

Xing Zhao is a Ph.D. student in Art History, Theory, and Criticism at the University of California, San Diego. She studies modern Chinese art in comparative frames. She is particularly interested in transnational cultural exchange and the history of collecting and display. Prior to entering the doctoral program, Zhao worked in Beijing and Shanghai, focusing on archiving, curating, and writing.
