Zhang O

Zhang O is a New York-based photographer whose work examines issues of identity and transformation in contemporary China and the United States. She was trained at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing in 2000 before moving to London, England, where she earned two master’s degrees, the first from Byam Shaw at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (2001), and the second in photography from the Royal College of Art in 2004. Zhang has participated in solo exhibitions in New York, Beijing, and London.
