Abby Chen
Abby Chen is a curator, writer, lecturer, and art administrator. A graduate of the California College of Arts, she is currently curator and deputy director at the Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco. Her curatorial projects include San Francisco Public Art Initiative of Arts-in-Storefront and Central Subway (Stockton), Gender Identity Symposium (Guangzhou), Yerba Buena Center For the Arts (San Francisco), Museum of Chinese in America (New York), Photo San Francisco, Pingyao International Photography Festival, and San Francisco Arts Commission. Her writing focuses on hybridity, photography, gender, and contemporary Chinese culture.
