1Alisa Prudnikova
Alisa Prudnikova is commissioner and artistic
director of the Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art, Ekaterinburg, Russia. She is director and curator of the Ural Branch of the
National Center for Contemporary Arts (NCCA). She is also a lecturer at the Department of Art History and Cultural Studies of the Ural Federal University. From 2002 to 2008, she was editor-in-chief of ZA ART, an art and culture magazine devoted to putting the local art scene in an international analytical context. An expert (2006–08, 2011–13) and juror (2009) of Innovation, the first Russian national award in contemporary arts, Prudnikova is an organizer of and participant in over thirty inter-regional and international conferences.
