April Liu is a doctoral student in Chinese art history at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. She holds an M.F.A. in sculpture from Michigan State University and has exhibited and curated exhibitions in the United States, China, and Austria. Her research interests include late imperial Chinese woodblock prints, Buddhist visual culture, and contemporary Chinese art.
