1Caroline Turner
Caroline Turner, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Fellow at Australian National University and was a senior art museum professional for twenty years. She was co-founder and project director for ten years in the 1990s for the Asia-Pacific Triennials (1993, 1996, 1999) at the Queensland Art Gallery. Turner was the scholarly editor of the three major catalogues for the first three Triennials. Her publications include Tradition and Change: Contemporary Art of Asia and the Pacific (University of Queensland Press, 1993) and Art and Social Change: Contemporary Art in Asia and the Pacific (Pandanus Books, 2005).
