1Celine Y. Lai
Celine Y. Lai is teaching cultural and heritage management at the City University of Hong Kong. Her interests in modern and contemporary Chinese arts are developed from her former postdoctoral research on the Khoan & Michael Sullivan collection as well as the Reyes collection of Chinese paintings in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. With a background in archaeology, she undertook several field trips in China during the period 2004−2009 and witnessed administrative changes in museums and other cultural sectors. Her recent research is concerned with the relationship of heritage to arts and archaeology. China and Hong Kong are her focus regions.
