Hsu Shih-Yu

Hsu Shih-Yu studied communication engineering and visual art administration at National Central University in Taiwan and New York University. Her research includes image, media, and feminist critique. She co-founded the bilingual online media art platform SCREEN in 2015 and was Executive Assistant of the Taiwan Pavilion at the 2017 Venice Biennale. From 2018 to 2021 she was Curator at Taipei Contemporary Art Center. Hsu is currently an independent researcher and writer, and her art criticism has been published in several publications including Artforum.com.cn, Artist Magazine, Art Investment, Leap, and Yishu Journal of Contemporary Chinese Art.
