1Huangfu Binghui
Huangfu Binghui is Senior Visiting Fellow with the Centre for Contemporary Art and Politics (CCAP) and a researcher for the Centre’s ARC project Construction, Connection and Community: Measuring Asian Art’s Contribution to Contemporary Culture. Trained as an artist, curator and theorist, Binghui is an industry leader and one of the world’s leading curators of contemporary Asian art. She has co-curated a number of major international exhibitions, including the Gwangju Biennale, Korea, in 2006. She has recently been appointed as a co-curator for the Polska Biennale 2008 in Poznan, Poland. From 2003–2006, Binghui was the Director of Asia Australia Art Centre/Gallery 4A, before which she worked as the Director/Curator of the Earl Lu Gallery (now called The Institute of Contemporary Art) at LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts, Singapore.
