Leora Joy Jones
Leora Joy Jones is a poet and writer currently completing her M.A. in Critical and Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Art (CCSCA) at the National Taipei University of Education. She earned her B.F.A. at Rhodes University, South Africa, specialising in sculpture and installation. She is interested in the perverted intersections of critical theory, art, everyday life, and popular culture. More recently, her focus has turned to how art responds to the climate crisis and the Anthropocene, as well as art practices in Taiwan. She is co-founder of the Taipei Poetry Collective and hosts readings and biweekly workshops around Taipei.
