Samuel Saelemakers
Samuel Saelemakers is Associate Curator at Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam, where he has been working since 2012. He holds an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Antwerp and an M.A. in art philosophy and aesthetics from Université Paris IV-Sorbonne. From August 2012 to August 2014, Saelemakers worked on Moderation(s), a long-term project by Heman Chong unfolding between Witte de With and Spring Workshop, Hong Kong. As part of this program, together with Chong he curated the exhibition titled The Part in The Story Where A Part Becomes A Part of Something Else. In 2013 he co-organized an international research symposium, Speculative Art Histories, in collaboration with Erasmus University’s Centre for Art and Philosophy, Rotterdam
