Viela Hu

Viela Hu is studying Art History and Visual Arts with a minor in French and Francophone Studies at Columbia College, Columbia University, New York City. Her art historical research interests lie in modern and contemporary Asian diasporic art in connection to gender and sexuality, healthcare, race, and immigration. Her artistic practice further explores her academic interests through mixed media sculptures and video. Her writings can also be found in Oxford Book Review X S Stanford and Prisms: Princeton Undergraduate Journal of Gender and Sexuality Studies.
