Zheng Bo
Zheng Bo is a Ph.D. student in the Visual & Cultural Studies program at University of Rochester. His current dissertation studies how recent socially engaged art creates publicness in the Chinese context. In spring 2010, he was a resident researcher at the Institute of Visual Culture of the China Art Academy. Zheng is also a practicing artist based in Beijing. His ongoing project Karibu Islands was featured in the 2008 Guangzhou Triennial and the 2010 Auckland Triennial.
